Windrose is a 2006 Hungarian Warmblood mare by World Class Cup. "Rosie" as she is affectionately known, was purchased by Mattalyn as a three-year-old, but the relationship began when Rosie was a weanling. Known as hot, difficult, and a little bit wild, she quickly became Mattalyn's biggest project. Fast forward ten years, and much has changed, but Rosie's general nature of being hot and difficult has not. Despite all this, she has maintained a good rideability and has the work-ethic of a saint. Mattalyn and Rosie achieved the scores together for the USDF Bronze Medal award, and are halfway to achieving the Silver! Rosie is expected to make her FEI debut in rated competition in May at River Glen. Mattalyn's plan is to keep Rosie happy and healthy, slowly chipping away until the eventual dream of reaching Grand Prix on her self-trained dragon is realized.
High Noon is a 2015 Trakehner stallion prospect by Butow *E* out of Hetty (Induc). "Cooper" is a very sweet and kind horse with movement that gives Dressage enthusiasts chills. Mattalyn and Cooper are just beginning their journey together, but the sky is the limit and the hopes of International Competition are out there! Mattalyn is focusing on keeping Cooper happy and healthy, exposing him to as much life and travel as possible without overwhelming him. He has already begun his groundwork training, and will continue to progress until he is ready to carry a rider, at which point he will be softly backed and then turned-out with a buddy until ATA Stallion Approvals in the fall.
